Built Environment

The "Built Environment" refers to physical spaces such as buildings, ramps, doorways, stairs, elevators and sign. The new federal law could address the accessibility of buildings regulated by the Government of Canada such as post offices and banks.



Transportation

The Government of Canada regulates national and international travel by train, plane and boat. It also regulates certain travel by land between provinces (ex. interprovincial buses). It does not regulate travel by land within provinces (i.e. municipal buses and subways).
